Commissioned by the amazing folks at Union to call upon Steve’s style and expertise in creating composite portrait & location work.
The backgrounds of Craigmillar, Blackness and Stirling Castles were shot first, which are multi shot panorama. Each location was meticulously retouched to remove elements like signage, people and scaffolding.
Skies were replaced to create a common theme to anchor the set. Super sized canvases were prepped to allow for multiple format crops and uses.
Hero portraits and video were shot in the studio. Utilising 2 set ups for stills and green screen video.
Lastly all was brought together and perfected in a fun and intense post production schedule which involved lots of retouching and video compositing.
